Stuart brings a wealth of title and legal experience to his role as underwriting counsel for the District of Columbia and division manager for Asset Preservation, Inc., a Stewart Title Guaranty Company subsidiary. After graduating from the University of Virginia with his B.S. and J.D., he spent 20 years practicing law with an emphasis on commercial real estate transactions before joining Stewart Title Guaranty Company. In addition to his current position, he is also a state underwriter for Virginia and backup underwriter for Maryland.
Stuart is admitted to the District of Columbia Bar and Virginia State Bar, and is a member of the board of directors of the District of Columbia Land Title Association. He speaks regularly about legal and real estate matters in the greater D.C. area.
