At Garden Gate our mission is to make available plants native to Virginia that are suitable for conservation landscaping and restoration projects. We are a grower supplying retail and wholesale customers.
With our new space, we will be propagating more local ecotype native species with a new focus on local shrubs and trees as well as adding to our list of native wildflower species.
A native meadow, several pollinator gardens and planting many edible native species are already in the works. It will be exciting to see these evolve and to see the different pollinators and wildlife that they will bring to the property.
